Under the sponsorship of KOMATEK, the MegaTrends 2030 Report, commissioned by the Turkish Construction Equipment Distributors and Manufacturers Association (İMDER) and prepared by TEPAV, has revealed striking data on Turkey’s recent advancements in the construction and heavy machinery sector. The report was launched on April 25, 2025, at TOBB Twin Towers. As the first output of the MegaTrends 2030 platform, the report states that Turkey has achieved over 130% growth in construction and mining equipment exports over the past 20 years, reaching an annual export volume of $2.4 billion. Turkey was among the few countries that managed to increase its global market share during the periods of 2011-2017 and 2017-2023. Following the presentation by TEPAV and speeches by Celal Toroğlu, two panels were held to discuss the sector’s present and future.
